What is Alcohol and Drug Rehab and Treatment?

Alcohol rehab centers and alcohol treatment centers exist to provide a safe place for individuals suffering from alcoholism and drug addiction to learn, grow, and heal from a seemingly hopeless state of mind and body. To understand addiction, it is important to understand the complexity of the disease and its influence on the brain. Addiction is a chronic illness, like diabetes or asthma.

Tallgrass relies on over 150 volunteers from the vibrant, recovery community in Sioux Falls, SD. In addition, nearly all of Tallgrass’ employees are themselves in recovery. It is this peer to peer mentoring and immersion into the recovery community that distinguishes Tallgrass from other alcohol and drug rehab providers.
